Welcome to the February 2025, Mintsoft Quarterly Update.

Development Update

We’re continually improving Mintsoft’s software functionality and are committed to sharing our product development plan, to highlight the updates we are currently working on, and that you can expect to see in the next few months.

The below development roadmap includes projects that we’re currently working on for Mintsoft:

Coming soon:

  • Pallets and Cartons - From customer and user feedback, we will implement improved workflows for creation and management of cartons and pallets on the mobile app and web, as well as a new inventory report for cartons and pallets only.
  • B2B Stock Allocation - This feature will enable rule creation and automation for wholesale and online retail orders to separate workflows and select priority location types, which will help you to tailor picking processes for B2B and B2C separately.
  • Batch Suggester - Boost efficiency and save time with our Batch Suggester feature. Designed for businesses with high eCommerce order volumes, this tool will automatically suggest batches for orders containing similar or identical SKUs, optimising your picking process.
  • Packaging Screen - As couriers such as Amazon, Australia Post and UPS demand better clarity on parcel information, an update will be added to the barcode verification process, to allow you to select the packaging required and the items within them, which will automatically update with parcel weight, to avoid unnecessary courier fees from incorrect parcel attributes.
  • Stock Take - Maintain inventory accuracy with our stock take feature. This enhancement will enable users to perform physical stock counts within their warehouses, ensuring that actual stock levels align with those recorded in Mintsoft. This will be enabled for web and mobile at launch.
  • New Mobile App - Since launch in October 2024, the new mobile app has had 6 additional updates based on feedback from early adopters. Future feature updates will include; Wifi & Bluetooth printing, improved efficiency of workflows, stock take functionality and an improved onboarding experience for new app users.

These new features are being developed alongside our continued dedication to providing enhancements for platform stability, reliability and quality. We achieve this by focusing on fixing bugs, maintaining and improving integrations and data syncs, as well as implementing user experience updates to reduce waiting time while the system performs processes in the background.

Key Mintsoft Updates

We also release software updates every week with a host of improvements and bug fixes so please be sure to check the latest release notes on the support portal. During the last quarter, the following updates were completed; including:

  • Strong focus on bug fixes in November 2024, December 2024 and January 2025.
  • 197 integration updates from June - Dec 2024. In the last quarter, this includes upgrades to integrations such as Pallex, Palletways, TikTok and EasyPost.
  • Updates to Cartons and Pallets functionality, including assigning items to pallet or carton location during an upload, and extending the character limit for pallet or carton labelling.
  • Enhanced API performance to improve data retrieval speeds for smoother integration and faster system interactions.
  • Refined user interface for Order Management, for better navigation to allow users to process orders more efficiently.
  • For Workspace users, the Access Evo button should now be available, opening the door to multiple future development opportunities. The new login enables users to access Mintsoft, the mobile app, analytics, learning, collaborate and engage from a single sign-on location.

In addition, we’d like to highlight one of the recent process changes we’ve made, to reduce the waiting time of users, while an upload is taking place:

Warehouse: Upload Locations

To improve the performance of Mintsoft and reduce the time spent by users waiting for an upload to happen, we have moved the Upload warehouse location spreadsheet to be a background process. The user who created the upload will be notified by email, containing a download link to get results, once the upload has completed. Please Note: These links expire after 30 days.

Want to get more involved?

There are multiple ways you can be more involved in the development of Mintsoft’s features and functionality, and we’d love for you to consider them:

  1. Become a part of our new Customer Forum – speak to your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager to register your interest to attend quarterly sessions to learn about what we have planned for the future of Mintsoft and share your thoughts on how you'd like to see the software evolve. You can also share best practice ideas with other Mintsoft users.
  2. Become an Early Adopter – get early access to new features like Stock-Take and the Mobile App, to test it out and provide feedback to influence the updates made. Let your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager know you’d like to get involved.
  3. Share feedback through surveys – look out for surveys via the Digital Assistant within the Mintsoft platform and share your feedback.
  4. Ideas Portal – please continue to utilise the ideas portal to share your thoughts on features, workflows, processes and functionality that you’d like to see developed for Mintsoft. These are reviewed regularly by the Product Development Team.
