Development Update
Our product development plan is detailed in a ‘Now, Next, Future’ format, to showcase the updates we are currently working on and our future plans.
If you aren’t familiar with this concept Now contains features actively being developed at the moment and these are the ones you will see released over the coming weeks and months. Next contains the features we are planning to start immediately after, and Future details our longer term goals.
The updated development roadmap includes the following development projects, that we’re working on ‘Now’ for Mintsoft:
What we’re working on Now:
- Updated allocation features – This upgraded functionality will add support for user specified allocation type, such as FIFO, FEFO or Batch, adds minimum shelf-life filter and adds soft allocation logic so product locations are not finalised until the order is sent to pick
- New Pallets and Cartons feature - 3PL Accounting – enabling fulfilment houses and 3PL providers to add storage and pick costs to carton and pallet types, for easier client invoicing
- Amazon FBA updates – additional support for Amazon partnered shipping to ensure smooth replenishment actions, as well as improvements to FBA reporting capabilities.
This roadmap focuses on the larger pieces of development and is in no way exhaustive. We also release software updates every week with a host of improvements and bug fixes so please be sure to check the release notes on the support portal.
During the last quarter, the following updates were completed; including:
- Additional Pallets and Cartons functionality – this allows creation of an ‘order from pallet overview’ screen using your selected pallets, for easier
- New Stock Take abilities (Phase 1) – the addition of paper-based stock take using your selected locations, with discrepancy and adjustment reporting
- New inventory functionality – enabling the transfer of inventory allocated to orders or in a quarantined status while maintaining the allocation.
- Updates to integrations to ensure consistent service; such as Evri, DHL Parcel UK, FedEx, DX Express, UPS and Shopify.
