Welcome to the November 2024, Mintsoft Quarterly Update.

Development Update

We’re continually improving Mintsoft’s software functionality and are committed to sharing our product development plan, to highlight the updates we are currently working on, and that you can expect to see in the next few months.

The below development roadmap includes projects that we’re currently working on for Mintsoft:

Coming soon:

  • B2B Allocation: Streamline your warehouse operations with Mintsoft’s upcoming B2B allocation feature. Perfect for businesses handling both wholesale distribution (B2B) and online retail fulfilment (B2C), this tool will allow you to automate wholesale order allocation through customisable rules based on specific parameters. Gain greater flexibility and control over which locations fulfill your wholesale orders.
  • Stock Take: Maintain inventory accuracy with our stock take feature. This enhancement will enable users to perform physical stock counts within their warehouses, ensuring that actual stock levels align with those recorded in Mintsoft.
  • Batch Suggester: Boost efficiency and save time with our Batch Suggester feature. Designed for businesses with high eCommerce order volumes, this tool will automatically suggest batches for orders containing similar or identical SKUs, optimising your picking process.
  • Mobile App Updates: Take warehouse management on the go! Our new mobile app will include advanced capabilities, such as mobile stock counting and Bluetooth printing, making it easier than ever to manage inventory and print essential documents directly from your mobile device.

Key Mintsoft Updates

We also release software updates every week with a host of improvements and bug fixes so please be sure to check the latest release notes on the support portal. During the last quarter, the following updates were completed; including:

  • Workspace users have a new way to log in. This change will give us the ability to add more exciting features that will come soon.
  • 239 bug fixes in September & October 2024
  • Courier integration updates adding required fields such as EORI numbers, UKIMS numbers, product descriptions, and weights to various couriers, including DHL eCommerce UK, DPD, DX Express, Evri, FedEx, GFS, Huxloe, Intersoft, ParcelHub, and The Delivery Group.
  • Added support for several courier integrations ahead of the Windsor Framework going live on 31st March 2025, easing trade between Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The framework was delayed from its original planned date of end of September by the UK government.

We’ve also completed some User Experience (UX) improvements, including:

  • Users can now view customs reports and access the custom reports builder from the reports side bar menu.
  • Renamed the Stock actions when transferring stock into or out of a carton/pallet, the wording has also been updated so the action is specific to the carton or pallet.
  • Improved the search performance on Mintsoft’s order overview. As well as providing users with the ability to search orders by SKU.
  • Add total volume tags to custom despatch notes. Automatically add volumes on custom despatch notes using the new total volume tag (#TOTALVOLUME#).
